Dear Mr Rumpf
I
~~~
Enclosed for your review and approval are two more copies of the revised as-
built landscape plan for the Gateway Office Building, Permit #99-1439 As I mentioned
the changes from the original plan are minor ones.
1) CHANGING LOCATION OF SOME PINES - The original plan had a con-
centration of slash pines on both sides of the entrance drive I decided that
such a concentration near the driveway and parked cars in years to come,
would be a nuisance and possibly even cause some damage to vehicle
finishes I therefore used live oaks in this location
On the previous plan, there was a grouping of oaks around the retention area
on the north end of the site I changed these to a grouping of pines, using the
oaks at the driveway entrance
2) SUBSTITUTING 12 PINES FOR 12 OAKS - There were 12 scrub oaks on
the property that could not be transplanted It was agreed to add 12 live oaks
to the original plan to replace them They were to be located with the oaks
originally planned for the retention area When I changed to pines for this
area, I switched the additional 12 oaks to pines
3) SUBSTITUTION OF VIBURNUM SUSPENSUM HEDGE FOR
RHAPHIOLEPIS UMBELATA - Due to unavailability
There were no changes in the plant quantities, only in relocation as indicated
above
