Dear Mr GerlIca.
Subsequent to the actIOn taken at the CIty CommISSIOn meetmg of March 5th, tills office
has been dIrected to reVIew several record plat Issues stIll unresolved. Those comments
from the second plat reVIew (dated January 25th) apparently have been addressed WIth the
exceptIOn of comment #22, WhICh reqUIres a uruform utIlIty easement for both the
eXIstmg samtary collectIOn mam and the water mam. If tills cannot be acilleved, the
agreed west SIde locatIOn of the easement lme was to be 14 (honzontal) feet west of the
eXlstmg sanItary sewer WIth the "beefing up" of the sanItary lme to WIthstand a surface
loadmg surcharge on all excavatIOn slope to the centerlme of the eXIstmg pIpe. If the
"beefing up" on the sanItary lme IS not to be consIdered, then the mmImum westward
honzontal dIstance must be 22.5 feet from the eXlstmg sanItary lme. Although tills IS a
deSIgn Issue WIth the developer (purchaser), It does have a SIgnIficant beanng on
ldentIfymg the utIlIty easement correctly on the record plat.
However, we have the followmg concerns that reqUIre clanficatIOn and/or documentatIOn
to satisfy thIS department's final record plat reVIew These are as follows
