Those Items will be reviewed throughout the penmtting process and are conditions of the Development Order (DO). At tlns time, the applicant is consldenng placing the arr conditioner compressors in either the pnvate patios or in a mche created between adjacent rear loaded garages. One electric transformer Will be requrred for every two buildings contained on the site plan. Transformers will be located m the open spaces between the curb and front or side bUIlding fa~des. All transformers and meters will be screened as depicted on the landscape details and notes. COPY File SUBJECT Quantum Village Fire Flow Requirements CGA PROJECT NO' 02-2544 As reqUIred by City Ordmance, we have prepared a water model on the water mam for thIS project to show that the system will meet the 1,500 GPM at 20 P.S.!. fire flow reqUIrement. We modeled tlus system usmg the fire flow data proVIded to us by your office on August 5th 2002 for the two fire hydrants nearest thIS sIte. The model was prepared usmg WaterCAD verSIon 5 0 from Haestad Methods, Inc. A demand of 1500 gallons per mmute (gpm) was placed on the proposed system at the most extreme hydrant locatIOns. ThIs was done on both the West and East SIdes of High RIdge Road. At a flow of 1,500 the pressure at the most extreme hydrant on the West SIde was calculated to be 35 17 pSI, and the pressure at the most extreme hydrant on the East SIde was calculated to be 38 44 pSI. Please note that thIS pressure IS greater than the reqUIred 20 pSI. We also ran the WaterCAD fire flow analYSIS and found that the constramts were met. For your use, I have attached copIes of the JunctIon and fire flow reports for both the East and West systems. Please call me If you have any questIons or If you need anythmg else. Thank you.
