Dear Mr Albertson
In response to your request dated November 4, 2004 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following
. Removal of trellises (as depicted on the attached plan)
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised
date stamped 11/4/04 are "minor" as defined within the
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Si te Plan Review
project may continue to be processed by the Building Division
permit application, subject to the following conditions

3 Satisfaction of the City Forester as to the number, type and
placement of trees/landscape to compensate for the elimination of
the two trellises This landscaping, if placed in the grassed
active play area, shall not be located as to disrupt the openness
and functionality of the play area
Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to

D.R. Horton, Inc. IS requestIng a mmor modificatIOn to the Quantum Park Townhomes East
and West landscape plan. Horton IS requestmg the removal of the wood trellIs located on
Sheet L2-B between the two 3-story townhome buildmgs (umts 243-254). The trellIs IS
located over a dramage structure and Wlthm a dramage easement and would not be permItted
by the easement holder The landscapmg and paver treatment depIcted m tlns area will remam
m place.
Secondly, we would like to remove the trellIs adjacent to Quantum Blvd. at the entrance and
eXIt to the commumty These trellIses as drawn lIe Wlthm utility easements and agam would
not be permitted by the easement holders.
As a conceSSIon we are schedulmg a meetmg with Kevm Hallahan to coordinate the addttIon
oflandscape matenals Wlthm the "grassed actIve play area" m the Quantum Park Townhomes
West as shown on Sheet L-2B TIns landscape matenal would supplement the approved
landscapmg quantItIes. The four trellIses at the entrances to the umts on the east and west side
of Quantum Park Townhomes will remam and have been constructed.
