Subject: Request for Minor Site Modification
Ms. Heydren:
The accompanying drawings indicate the addition of several low-impact plastic "traffic
delineator"posts at the Lawrence Road entrance to the Citrus Glen community, which is represented by the
above named Association.
This Association is desirous of installing seven (7) of these posts between the two entrance traffic
lanes as a preventive against visitor traffic misusing the resident's entry gate, and two additional posts to
discourage all entering traffic from using the exit gate as an entry.
The posts were erected for a period of several months between mid-July and late October,
experimentally, and found to be most effective for the purpose described. During this test period, no damage
was sustained, either to vehicles or to the delineators. We now wish to establish their permanent existence
through a "minor site modification", and seek approval ofthe Technical Review Board to do so.
At the suggestion of Mike Haag ofP1anning & Zoning, representatives of both FirelRescue (Bill
Cavanaugh), and Public Works (Larry Quinn) were consulted by George Lotridge, a resident of Citrus Glen,
speaking on behalf of the Association. Both expressed a belief that the posts would present no problem for their
vehicles to enter this community, especially in light ofthe successful experimental period, and each stated that he
would offer no opposition to the modification..
If you will be so kind as to have your office notifY us of the date on which our request will be
scheduled to be heard, a representative from Citrus Glen will be at that Board meeting to answer any questions
that might arise. We can be reached by writing to us at the address below, by calling the telephone number listed
