Dear Mr Aguirre:
In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of modifications proposed to the
above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed that the proposed changes regarding the project
entrances as shown on the plans date stamped 04/25/0 I and OS/25/0 I are "minor", as defined within the
Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4- Site Plan Review This approval includes the addition of two
security gates at both SE 8th Street entrances and the closing of the southeast entrance. Also approved is
the revised planting schedule outlined in the attached letter dated May 16, 2001.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application subject to the
following condition:
Emergency response personnel and apparatus must have access at all times, Please coordinate with
the Fire and Police Departments regarding the method of emergency access,
Be advised that the proposed change may require a modification to the building permit. Please contact

Landscape Modification: Due to the change in building orientation, the landscape

Southeast Entry Closure & Perimeter Wall erection: In order to provide security
and protection against vandalism, the southeast project entry shall be blocked by
providing a new 6 feet high CBS perimeter wall. The wall shall begin at the existing
south perimeter wall and will tie into the existing neighbors perimeter wall, wnich is
located on the southeast side. Additionally, the pavement shall be saw cut
approximately 5'-0" from the wall in order to provide a landscape buffer.

RE SAPS Temple minor modifications
1 Show how the gates will be secured after hours. Emergency response
personnel and apparatus must have access at all times. If a chain & lock
is to be used, a fire department lock can be used in conjunction with the
owner's lock. If a key is used a Knox Box may be used
