If the school is temporary, any items (such as parking lot, landscaping, irrigation, roads, etc.) that are to be left on site should be coordinated in its design in such a way that it can be used for the future park. 3 Would suggest that the location of the temporary school be moved to the west border of the site, versus the east border, thereby increasing the area of land available for parkland. The master plan at this time shows approximately 4 acres to the east and 5 acres to the west of the school. When the site became a park, more land would be available to use for any recreation needs that are programmed (such as soccer field, football field, etc.) and still be able to leave the previously agreed upon site amenities on the site.
