Dear Mr Altan:
As you know, the Community Redevelopment Agency tabled the above referenced project to the
August 13, 2002 meeting. At the last meeting, the Board was unsatisfied with a number of issues,
including but not limited to the elevations, the parking spaces, and emergency vehicle ingress / egress.
Below is an itemized list, derived from the Board meeting minutes that highlight the areas of the
Board's concerns. These comments are to be addressed prior to further review by the Board, Please
provide a written response as to how you will specifically address each issue, either on the site plan or
via appropriate documentation:
1 Eliminate Comment #11
2, Recommends further analysis of the placement of the "parking space" dedicated to emergency
vehicle turnaround. If endorsed by the City Fire Department, the Board recommends relocating the
emergency vehicle turnaround area eastward to end of the row of parking spaces (to be located at
space labeled #22);
3 The applicant shall provide a color chip of the proposed building paint color and, if possible, a
visual representation (color rendering) of the color that matches the paint chip;
4 The applicant will provide a mansard roof on the north elevation and the west elevation (ofthe
building addition) to match the existing building.

I was speaking with Laurinda Logan from Engineering and she still has an issue with your plans. Her additional
comment is as follows:
"Provide an engineer's certification with the next submittal as specified in the LDR, Chapter 4, Section 7.F.2."
Ms. Logan indicated to me that this issue is such that would compel her to not allow your project to proceed to the
Community Redevelopment Board without it being addressed. It is important that you speak to Ms. Logan
