In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of modifications proposed to the
above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed that the proposed change of the exterior
building wall, trim and awning colors as shown on the revised plans and photos date stamped 02/11/01 is
"minor", as defined within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4- Site Plan Review
Please be advised that the color selection for Chili's will now be included in the approved colors for the
Shoppes of Boynton. Any future color changes will require approval from the City of Boynton Beach
prior to execution ofthe change.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application. Please
contact me at (561) 742-6260 if you have additional questions.

We recently painted the above-referenced Chili's Grill & Bar restaurant to conform
with the nationally recognized look of Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants throughout the United
States. Our experience has been that using the Chili's signature look enhances customer
recognition and customer confidence that the Chili's is part of the national Chili's system. At
the few other locations where we opened a Chili's in a building with non-standard colors and
then later were fortunate enough to switch to the traditional Chili's look, our customer counts
increased. It is our hope that we see the same results in Boynton Beach.
Gary Phillip is the Chili's Facilities Manager for Chili's in the Southern region. Gary
was traveling in South Carolina this past week but I understand that early next week Gary is
providing to you the color scheme of the Chili's before the repaint and the color scheme of
the Chili's after the repaint. Also, to make the Chili's signature look authentic at this location
the awning material was also changed to match the Chili's standard awnings. Gary's
information will include the look of the prior awning and the look of the current awning.
We are tenants at the referenced location. The term of our lease at this site runs to
May 5, 2011 For your convenience, I have included a copy of the recorded Memorandum
