In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of the
modifications proposed to the above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed
that the amendment to the Boynton Commons sign program, to include three (3) directory
signs, as shown on the revised plans date stamped 5/08/02 is "minor", as defined within
the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4 - Site Plan Review
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit
application contingent upon the following condition:
To minimize the chances of the directory signs being hit, place the proposed signs
a minimum of one (1) foot behind the Type "D" curb.
Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to the building permit.

I write this letter to you as a request for an addendum to the sign program at
the Boynton Commons. In this proposal we have included all the items that were
discussed at the meeting. There are four sets of drawings with specifications, photo
samples with signs, and specific background color of the signs (Pantone 155 C) The
specific addendum that we are requesting is that we be allowed to manufacture and install
three directories at this location. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Joe Lelonek of Land Design South, agent for Boynton Commons Corporation, contract purchaser of
the property located at the southwest corner of Congress Avenue and Old Boynton Road (see Exhibit
'A" - Location Map), is requesting approval of a community design plan appeal to allow additional
colors for signage proposed for the site.
The following colors, in addition to black and white, are proposed to be included in the sign program
criteria.

On October 15, 1996, the site plan for the Boynton Commons PCD shopping center was approved by
the City Commission. Recently, Boynton Commons Corporation has proposed numerous changes to
the previously approved site plan. In general, changes are limited to reconfiguration of structures,
