Tills project may continue to be processed by the Buildmg DIviSIOn as a permIt

This letter is to inform you that your request for administrative review regarding the
above referenced minor sIte plan application cannot be approved for the followmg
reason(s)'
1. No gasolme pump island shall be 10cated less than thirty (30) feet from any property
lIne {Chapter II SectIOn 11.L.3 .e (b)}.
The proposed "slave" pump Island is located 7 feet 6 mches from the eastern property
lIne and therefore IS not in complIance WIth the setback requirement.
This project may not continue to be processed by the Buildmg Division as a permit

Yesterday, we had our second community meeting with the property owners on Industrial Avenue to
show them our design concepts for the stormwater improvements we have planned. One of the issues
that came up is that we may be asking Foster Oil for a small land donation right at the corner of their
property so that we can fit into the project two full lanes of traffiC that will allow two semi-tractor
trailer trucks to negotiate that corner at the same time.
Mrs. Foster brought up to me that she is willing to consider donating the necessary corner, but she
asked me about the recently imposed condition on her property to close her Southernmost driveway on
E. Industrial. Of course, I did not have an answer for her as to why lithe City" is making her close that
driveway. Can you shed some light on that subject for me, and is there any room for leeway on this
closure if she cooperates with us on the land donation we might need for the easing of that corner?

property is located north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, Just west of 1-95 on Lots 5 through 8 of Boynton
Industnal Park, more partIcularly described as 319 Industnal Avenue. The property is zoned M -1.
The applicant proposes to construct two (2) "slave" dIspensers on both SIdes of the existmg pump island and h
reconfigure the parkmg spaces along the north property lIne. The number of parkmg spaces WIll remam the
same, however, they will be shifted to the east by 23 feet.
This proJect may not continue to be processed by the BUIldmg DIVIsIOn as a permit applicatIOn because of the
followmg Issue(s):
1. The new "slave" pump Island must be at least thIrty (30) feet from the eastern property lme {Sec 9,

WHICH WOULD BE FEED FROM THE EXISTING MASTER DISPENSER.
CURRENTLY DRIVERS HAVE BEEN THROWING THE HOSES UNDER
THEIR TRUCKS TO FUEL THEIR OTHER SADDLE TANK. WE FEEL
THAT IT WILL BE SAFER TO INSTALL THE SATELLITE DISPENSER
ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRUCK TO ELIMINATE THIS
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS PRACTICE.
THESE DISPENSERS CANNOT BE USED WITHOUT USING THE MASTER DISPENSER
THEREBY NOT ADDING ANY NEW FUELING POSITIONS.
