MINOR MODIFICATION #2 - Site Retaining Wall
Dear Mr. Rumpf:
This letter serves as request for a MINOR MODIFICATION to the above-
mentioned project.
Due to the existing site conditions on the adjacent property to the north, we have
to introduce a retaining wall to accommodate the differences in elevations
between our property and the adjacent property.
Our proposed grades in the northeast corner range from 2'-0" to 5'-0" lower than
the existing adjacent grades. The area of conflict, per the attached plans, exists
at the eastern 120'-0" of the north property line and the northern 20'-0" of the
east property line. The retaining wall is placed inside the property lines a
minimum of 5'-0" to avoid the landscape buffers and protect the newly planted
landscaping that belongs to the adjacent property owner to the north.
Please see the attached sheets 101 (site plan) and the added sheet 404 to our
structural drawings for all retaining wall details. The addition of this wall should
not affect any site plan approval criteria.
