The constructIOn of the eXIstmg monument SIgn at the entrance was ongmally permItted pursuant to Chapter 21, ArtIcle IV, SectIOn l.B However, the constructIOn of an addItlonal monument SIgn along Congress Avenue as proposed, where there IS no entrance, would not be permItted by Code In accordance With Chapter 21, Artlcle IV, SectIon l.B., the eXistIng monument SIgn along Golf Road may be relocated to the proposed locatIon along Congress Avenue, but two (2) monument SIgnS (one along Congress Avenue and one along Golf Road) would not be allowed. Should you choose to relocate the monument SIgn to the proposed locatIon along Congress Avenue, a smaller drrectIOnal SIgn, not exceedmg four (4) square feet m area nor five (5) feet m heIght, may be erected at the entrance per Chapter 21, ArtIcle IV, SectIon 2.F. The entrance is on Golf Road, but the address is on Congress Ave. This is a problem for visitors and, more import~ntly, Emergency Vehicles. To solve this problem we would like to install a monument sign as shown in the enclosed photos on Congress Ave. This was supported by staff at the Pre-application meeting on 7-16-2001.
