Re: Boynton Beach Quarterdeck - #PTCOl-186
Dear Mr. Atefi.
The purpose of this letter is to respond to your request for additional information regarding the traffic analysis
for the above referenced project.
Daily and peak hour trip generation for the 6,355 Sf restaurant is provided on Attachment 1. Storage lengths
for the turn lanes for the Old Boynton Road driveway and the northern Winchester Park Boulevard driveway
were also examined as requested and are shown below'

* Maximized due to location of other driveways.
The greatest impact of the Quarterdeck Restaurant is to the Old Boynton Road driveway because it is located
adjacent to this driveway. The eastbound right turn lane has sufficient storage. The westbound left turn lane,
based on County standards, would require 280 feet of storage. This turn lane can be re-striped because the
adjacent eastbound left turn lane at Winchester Park Boulevard has 490 feet of storage.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact this office.

DRAJNAGESTATEMENT
for:
QUARTERDECK SEAFOOD BAR AND NEIGHBORHOOD GRILL
Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida
Section 19, Township 45S, Range 43E
The drainage system for the above referenced project located within the existing Wal-Mart site,
will be designed and constructed to meet or exceed the drainage requirement as specified in the
attached South Florida Water Management District's Environmental Resource Permit, Permit
Number 50-03824-P-03 issued January 13, 2000.
This project is located within the previously permitted Wal-Mart Boynton Beach development in
Palm Beach County. The proposed development will have a minimum fmished floor elevation
of 16.0 ft NGVD and a minimum road crown elevation of 14.64 ft NGVD as required by the
existing SFWMD permit. The required water quality treatment for this project, including the dry
pretreatment, will be provided in the master surface water management system for the Wal-Mart
development as specified in the attached permit. The proposed site grading and drainage system,
as shown on the Conceptual Paving and Drainage Plan, will consist of a series of catch basins
and collector pipes and has been design to connect to an existing 18" stormwater stub as
indicated on as-built drawings located in the City of Boynton Beach.
The master surface water management system for the Wal-Mart development directs runoff into
a series of exfiltration trenches and a dry detention pond where dry pre-treatment requirements
will be satisfied. Following dry pre-treatment, runoff is routed to an 5 acre wet detention area
for water quality treatment and attenuation. Discharge from the wet detention area is through a
control structure consisting of a triangular orifice with an invert at elevation 8.5 ft NGVD and a
rectangular drop inlet with a crest at elevation 14.9 ft NGVD. The outfall receiving water body
is Lake Worth's Drainage District's L-24 Canal.
