Dear Mr, Rumpf:
Please except this letter as a formal request for a time extension, The above
referenced project was granted a Development Order for site plan approval on
July 18,2000 by the City Commission and a height exception granted on August
16,2000,
The Lake Worth Drainage District had reversed its opinion of the use of the 20-
foot wide area of land located in the rear our property, (See enclosed documents)
This change has adversely impacted our approved plan and revisions to the
proposed site plans were necessary for development.
May 15, 2001 the Department of Development approved a "minor" modification to
the site plan and landscape plan incorporating to 20-foot wide dedication to the
Lake Worth Drainage district. Do to the unforeseen change in the easement
opinion after final our site plan approval the permitting time line has unfortunately
been delayed to the time of expiration of our Development Order.
We respectfully request a one-year time extension to work out the easement

Dear Mr. Schmidt:
In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of the
modifications proposed to the above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed
that the parking lot and landscape buffer changes as shown on the revised plans date
stamped 05/93/01 are "minor", as defined within the Land Development Regulations,
Chapter 4- Site Plan Review. These changes are required due to the reversal of a decision
by the Lake Worth Drainage District regarding the use of their 20 foot drainage easement
adjacent to the L.W.D.D Lateral No. 26 Canal.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit
application. Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to the

2000 Meeting revised the required right-of-way from the North 40 feet to the North 60 feet
in this area.
Lake Worth Drainage District has to reverse the no objection letter dated May 17,
2000 to objection for the request to utilize the South 20 feet of the North 60 feet of Section
32/45/43 within the limits of this project.
