Dear Mr. Nannenhorn:
In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of the
modifications proposed to the above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed
that the fence addition as shown on the revised plans date stamped 07/17/01 is "minor",
as defined within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4- Site Plan Review. As
indicated on the plans, the gates are to remain open during business hours and a Knox
box will be installed to allow entrance for police and fire when the gates are locked.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit
application. Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to the

disclosure, CB Richard Ellis, Ine" The Fitzgerald Group
and Trammell Crow Company are the only brokers
involved with this lease transaction.
BROKERAGE COMMISSIONS: Landlord to pay a brokerage commission in the amount of
4 % of the total base rent amount for the entire lease term
to be paid to Trammell Crow and 3 % of the total base rent
amount for the entire lease term to CB Richard Ellis, Inc.
To be paid 50% upon signing and 50% upon occupancy_
This letter of intem outlines the basic business points of this proposed lease transaction. This
letter shall not be i,onstrued as a binding agreement and shall only serve as the basis for the

RE: Request for Site Plan Modification
Dear Michael:
TruGreen ChemLawn, a nationwide provider of Lawncare services, is in the process of
opening a new facility at 3020 High Ridge Road in Boynton Beach.
As part of this facility, we would like to request a Site Plan Modification to allow for the
installation of a chain link fence to provide nighttime security for the rear parking area as
shown on the attached site plan.
This fence would be 8' in height, standard chain link construction, and provide two (2)
swing gates to provide ingress/egress for vehicles. As the fence will be used as
nighttime security for TruGreen ChemLawn's vehicles, it will remain open during the day
to allow for movement of TruGreen's vehicles as well as other traffic that may need to
circulate through the rear building parking area. In the evenings, the gates would be
closed and locked with a simple chain and padlock. For fire department access after
hours, there will be two (2) "Knox Boxes" provided, one at each gate mounted on the
adjacent building should the fire department require to access this area in case of an
emergency.
The fence will be partially shielded visually from the surrounding properties and street
by its location at the rear of the property and the existing Ficus hedges that provide a
visual buffer between adjacent properties to its south and east.
