Dear Mr. Sorgman:
In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of the
modifications proposed to the above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed
that the fence and entrance closure as shown on the revised plans date stamped 06/11101
are "major", as defined within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4- Site Plan
Review. The fence as proposed will eliminate parking spaces and cause the development
to be below the required parking standard (Chapter 4, Section 9, Col.).
You may request a major site plan modification. This would entail full site plan review
including Planning & Development Board and City Commission approval. Please
contact either Eric Johnson or me at (561) 742-6260 should you have additional
questions.

To Whom It May Concern:
We are a senior citizen 48 unit condominium building (aka Building 13) located in the
complex of Village Royale on the Green in Boynton Beach. Due to many past and present
security problems, we would'like to make a minor modification in the layout of our parking
lot. (See plans attached hereto.)
We now have 69 parking spaces - (48 reserved for tenants and 21 guest spaces). You should
know that the majority of these guest spaces are ~ used. The new proposed layout will
have 62 parking spaces - 48 reserved for tenants and 14 guest spaces). Our unit owners feel
that by changing the layout of our parking lot, we will have a more secure and safer place to
live. We have had several frightening incidents occur in our parking lot alarming our
residents who are quite elderly. We have also had problems with cars cutting through our lot
(as we are on a corner), children skateboarding in one entrance and out the other, and
unauthorized people walking through and/or leaning against cars while threateningly
approaching our residents. By closing one of our entrances, we feel intruders will be less
likely to enter onto our property as they will have no quick alternate way to get out fast and
our residents will feel safer and be happier.
Therefore, we are requesting a permit for this minor modification of our parking lot and, with
your help, we can accomplish that goal.
