The following changes to the plan are approved as follows: . Removal and disposal of existing signage; . Add poured concrete arch to top of north and south walls; . Add new stucco banding to arches; . Repair existing stucco; . Repair and patch cracks in existing walls; . Paint entrance walls and trellis; . Add new signage; . Removal and disposal of existing lighting; . Replace lighting per customer specification; and . Install new weatherproof receptacles and lighting on each side of entrance by each black olive tree. This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application. Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to the building permit. Marschang Design and Construction, Inc. (MDCI) has entered into a contract with Lawrence Oaks Homeowner Association to complete this work. Attached you will find a description of the changes, proposed signage elevation, proposed paint chips and proposed electrical changes. Landscaping will be handled under a separate contract. All work will be performed by MDCI or licensed and insured subcontractors. The electrical work will be sub permitted by a licensed electrical contractor. (MDCI) has contracted with the Lawrence Oaks Homeowner's Association to provide renovation of existing entrance gates on Lawrence Road. The renovation will include: . Removal and disposal of existing signage. . Add poured concrete arch to top of north and south walls. . Add new stucco banding to arches. . Repair existing stucco. . Repair and patch cracks in existing walls. · Paint entrance walls and trellis. . Add new signage. · Removal and disposal of existing lighting. . Replace lighting per customer specification. . Install new weather proof receptacles and lighting on each side of entrance by each black olive tree. . Final cleanup. . Turn over to Sign-A-Rama for sign installation. -r- North and South Wall Construction 1. Existing signage will be removed and disposed. 2. Existing banding will be removed from top of existing signage walls. 3. Addition of a poured concrete arch to the top of each wall. Two #5 reinforcing bars will be placed in forms prior to placing concrete. The steel will be tied to vertical #5 rebars that will be bored and epoxied to top of existing wall. 4. New Stucco banding will be applied. 5. Existing stucco will be repaired. Painting All walls and trellises will be cleaned, patched, sealed and painted using Benjamin Moore Lancaster Whitewash #HC-174, Waterbury Cream #HC-31 and a standard Flat White. A faux finish background using HC-174 and HC-31 will be applied to the area the sign will be placed. Signage Raised bronze-tone lettering will be attached to the two walls by drilling the wall and attaching the letters via attached pegs on the letter rear surface. Construction epoxy will be used as adhesive. See signage elevation. Electrical 1. Remove 8 existing light fixtures 2. Columns on each side of signage will be bored for electrical installation. Maxim Trisyn 20422WGOB Coach Lights will be installed on the sign columns of both walls. 3. Add 4 (2 each side) GFI Outlets in place of 4 existing lights on trellis columns. 4. Add 4 (2 each side) Maxim Trisyn 20422WGOB Coach Lights in place of existing lights on trellis columns. 5. Add new flood lights for signage on both walls. 6. Add 2 new photo cells. 7. Trench and install waterproof conduit each side along base of oak trees on entrance driveway. 8. Install 8 (4 each side) GFI outlets at the base of each tree. 9. Install 8 (4 each side) flood lights at the base of each tree. 10. Repair existing electrical. 11. Add 2 Maxim Trisyn 20422WGOB Coach Lights in place pool lights 12. Provide electrical schematic of project. Site Cleanup Removal of all construction debris and general cleanup will be done.
