lU: FebrufD'Y 24, 2004 Planning and Development Board Meeting
Dear Mr. Breese:
Please accept this letter as a request to defer Item No. 6.A.1. on tonight's Planning and
Development Board meeting agenda regarding a one-year time extension of the Jefferson at
Boynton site plan approval granted on December 2, 2002. This request is being made because
Item No. 6,G.l. on tonight's agenda is a related site plan modification, which, if approved, would
alleviate the need to consider Item No. 6.A.I, Earlier today, Bonnie Miskel spoke with Assistant
City Attorney, David Tolces who advised that such a deferral could be granted at the Board's
discretion.

RE: Jefferson Apartment Complex - Revised Plan
TRAFfiC PERfORMANCE STANDARDS REVIEW
Dear Michael:
The Palm Beach County Traffic Division has reviewed the traffic study for the revised
development plan of the previously approved project entitled; Jefferson Apartment
Complex - Revised Plan, pursuant to the Traffic Performance Standards in Article 15
of the Palm Beach County Land Development Code. The project is summarized as
follows:
Location:
Municipality:
Existing Uses:
Proposed Uses:
New Daily Trips:
New PH Trips:
Build-out:
East of Congress Avenue, north of L-30 Canal
Boynton Beach
None
315 MF Residential Apartments
2,205
160 AM, and 189 PM
2006
Based on our review, the Traffic Division has determined that the project meets the
Traffic Performance Standards of Palm Beach County, It is suggested that the City
implement proper measures, through signing or stripping, to enhance safety at the project
access driveway, with emphasis on the southbound Congress Avenue traffic, tuming left,
onto the site, No building permits are to be issued by the town, after the build-out date,
specified above, The County traffic concurrency approval is subject to the Project
Aggregation Rules set forth In the Traffic Performance Standards Ordinance,
If you have any questions regarding this determination, please contact me at 684-4030,
Sincerely,
