Dear H. David Kelley Jr.:
We are writing to you today in reference to the subdivision Hawks Landing,
the recently rezoned 1.94 acre PUD 18 single family home subdivision, to
request the use of overhead utilities. You had suggested that overhead
utilities should be the avenue to pursue for this project. The overhead utilities
already exist in place and we are requesting to utilize what is in place
already.
We appreciate all of your assistance in making Hawks Landing a great
success.

Dear Mr. Angle:
In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed
to the above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed the changes as shown on the revised
plans date stamped 04/29/03 are "minor", as defined within the Land Development Regulations,
Chapter 4- Site Plan Review. The changes to the project are as follows:
. Keystone Model I and II
1. Front Elevation - optional roof designs, i.e. Boston Hip or Hip;
2. Rear Elevation - optional sliding glass door;
3. Left Side Elevation - optional garage entry door;
. Hillshire Model
1. Left Side Elevation - optional garage side entry door.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application. Be advised
that the proposed changes may require a modification to the building permit. Please contact me at (561)

Dear Mr. Wildner
I am writing you to request that you support us in our request to the city to waive the $16,990 parks fee that
the city charges. We are building a low to middle income housing project with 18 single family
homes. We have been able to bring middle income families to an area that has been predominately a
rental area. The city approved a change in zoning to allow us to do the single family vs. a previous
zoning of high density multi-family or rental.
This project is a great transition from the high density multi-family to the north side to the single family
homes to the south side. We feel the quality of housing we are providing will bring additional growth
and redevelopment to this area.
This project will bring 18 new homes to the city and increasing the tax base by almost $2,000,000.
This project will have a Home Owners Association to assure that the quality of the project and the standard
of living is maintained This will impact the SIUTOunding area and hopeful1y create and atmosphere where
other areas will improve. So fur the majority of our buyers are young families and owner occupants.
We are excited about this project and look forward to getting started. We did not plan for this charge and it
impacts our ability to maintain a moderate price point

Wilfred, I have a note from John Wildner that you wanted to discuss the issue of recreation impact fee and this approval.
I need to contact the developer and respond to his question regardin9 waiver. I do not see any provisions in the code for
waiver for affordable projects. Let me know if you want to discuss. MR.
