In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of modifications proposed to the
above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed that the proposed changes regarding the
addition of six (6) parking spaces as shown on the revised plans date stamped 12/13/00 are "minor", as
defined within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4- Site Plan Review. This modification will
satisfy the requirement of the Environmental Review Committee.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application. Please

Dear Mr. Reis:
Please be advised that on Thursday September 14,2000, the Environmental Review Committee
approved the establishment for sign fabrication, shipping and storing signs at 130 Commerce Road,
Boynton Beach, Florida, subject to the conditions in the attached letter from the Fire and Safety
Division.
The Site Plan approved in 1998 shows 20 spaces provided, a calculation based on 20 employees. The
information provided during the conduction of the Environmental Review meeting indicated 30
employees on site, thus rendering the calculation of20 spaces inadequate. Based on 30 employees, at
the ratio of 1.5 space per 2 employees, 22.5 spaces are needed; plus 10% buffer for visitors: 2.5 spaces,
for a total of25 spaces needed to comply with the minimum requirements by code. This requirement
can be complied with via a Minor Modification to the Site Plan. Please contact the Planning and
Zoning Division to receive the necessary information.
Also, material quantities provide on the Environmental Review application has been indicated to be
incorrect. Please provide an Addendum to the Environmental Review application directed to the
Planning and Zoning Division showing the right amount.
To complete the environmental review process, a prerequisite to issuance of an occupational license,
and environmental review permit must be issued. For issuance of an environmental review permit,
please obtain the signatures of those departments indicated on the attached environmental review form.
A department will not sign off until all conditions (including pulling of any necessary building permits
and receiving inspection thereof) imposed by that department have been satisfied.
Planning and Zoning shall be contacted last to sign off and shall validate the environmental review
permit after all signatures are obtained and after the $ 250 environmental review permit fee is received.
After the environmental review permit has been issued and validated by Planning and Zoning, an
occupational license may be issued after application for a license has been made and the occupational

license process has been completed (provided that the building to be occupied has a valid certificate of
occupancy). If an application for an occupational license was filed prior to validation of the
environmental review permit, the occupational license division should be contacted at 742-6360 to
reactivate the occupational license process.
Approval by the Environmental Review Board shall expire on September 14, 2001, one (1) year from
the date of approval, if a building permit has not been issued, where required, or if an occupational
license has not been issued, in the case where a building"permit is not required. However, approval by
the Environmental Review Committee does not entitle you to operate the proposed use at this location
until an environmental review permit and occupational have been issued. Such illegal occupancy shall
be subject to code enforcement action.
Once an environmental review permit and occupational license have been secured, operation of the
approved use in a manner which violates the Environmental Review Committee conditions and
limitations stated in this letter or which exceeds the scope of the Environmental Review Committee
approval as documented in the permit application, shall be subject to code enforcement action or
possible suspension or revocation of the environmental review permit. Such changes in the operation
of the approved use may be granted by modifying the environmental review permit. Planning and
Zoning shall be contacted to request a modification.
