Please be advised that on Tuesday, January ~ 1990, the Technical
Review Board approved the referenced administrative site plan
subject to staff comments, copies of which are attached.
These plans were approved subject to your compliance with the
attached stipulations. After you have amended your plans to
reflect these stipulations, please submit two copies of final
plan drawings with the changes incorporated to the Building
Department for permitting purposes.
The approval of the Technical Review Board entitles you to
construct only the improvements shown on the site plan. The site
plan will be viewed procedurally as an as-built or record
drawing. If you have any questions concerning this matter,
please do not hesitate to contact me.

RE: SITE PLAN FOR SUNSHINE CAR WASH - FREE STANDING SIGN
Upon review of the above-mentioned project, the following
comment must be addressed in order to conform with Boynton Beach
City Codes:
Provide a site plan drawing identifying the location of the
sign by showing setback dimensions from two adjacent property
lines to the sign structure.
In order to facilitate the permitting process, the following
information should be included within your documents submitted to
the Building Department for required permits:
1. The definition of a free-standing sign allows this sign to
identify the title of project or one main use only.
2. Provide written verification from Florida Power and Light and
southern Bell that the location of sign structure is
acceptable.
3. sign structures exceeding thirty-two square feet (32') require
drawings prepared by a Florida registered engineer or
architect showing original signature and seal. Drawings to
include, but not limited to, the following:
a. A statement verifying sign and sign structure is designed
to withstand wind pressure of fifty pounds (50*) per square
foot.
b. Detailed drawings identifying type and sizes of all sign
material.
c. Detailed drawings showing method of connection at all
critical design points.

There is an exlsting A.C. water main located near the
right-of-way lline at this location. Excavation within S' of
this water maih would likely result in its failure. The
applicant shall field locate this water main and adjust the
location of hi~ sign to provide S' of undisturbed clearance.
