Kazunas City Engineer ,mc,2j DATE: April 10, 1992 RE: Eastgate I at Hunter's Run We've reviewed the above referenced plan for the building additions as they effect drainage. Small additions over the entire site can have an effect on the total site drainage plan and do demand that consideration be given to drainage prior to issuance of permit. The following quidelines will assist you in your determination of whether drainage calculations will be required. 1) Increases in impervious areas under 100 square feet will not impact drainage sufficiently or require any drainage revisions of calculations. 2) Increases in impervious areas, 100 square feet and over, must be addressed by retention on site. Required storage must be based on 3 year 24 hour storm event (6,") over the area of new impervious. 3) Drainage permits will be required in addition to the building permits, and drainage inspections will be performed by this department. 4) In the event on-site retention cannot be accomplished due to site restrictions, drainage calculations of the entire drainage system must be provided to verify existing system will accept the additional run off. Regarding this specific project, please request from the applicant, sufficient verification of the existing and proposed impervious areas so a determination regarding drainage submittal requirements can be made.
