Recommendation regarding variance request for City Manager's review: The Building Dept. recommends that in instances where out parcels are contained within a ShOppIng center site, the evaluation of the out parcel buildings be based on a nonnal coornercial zoning- category, as defined by the Sign Ordinance. This would allow the out parcel building to have signage on multiple sides of the building, on those faces which constitute a front, to t e extent that all si a e not exceed ten percent 0 the face area of the building along the street right-of-way. The recommendation is to allow out parcels of shopping- centers to be evaluated under Sec. 21 14(D)(4) and (5) in addition tQ ec. 21 14(E) in its entirety.
