The current sign code limits real estate signs to a maximum of 3 square feet
in area in residential PUD's. This limitation~ while sufficient for Rin~lp-
family platted lots, is not sufficient fo~ a residential rental comnlex
adjacent to a high-speed main thoroughfare. The Building Department recommends approv&

SIGN VARIANCE - POST LANDINGS
A sign variance request has been submitted by Post Landings
Rental Apartments for a free-standing, temporary real estate sign
to be placed upon their property and meet all the necessary
setback requirements in its placement.
Relief is sought from Sec. 21-14 (M)-(3) of the Sign Code which
states that real estate signs may not exceed 3 square feet in
area.
My recommendation is to deny the variance as the sign size is
28 square feet larger than the code allows.
Please find attached the original variance form, an elevation
view drawing of proposed sign and a site plan showing the
proposed location of the subject sign.
Should you require additional information, please advise.

All of POST LANDING, according to the Plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 54, Pages 191 and 192, Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida lying in Section 18, Township 45 South, Range 43
East, City of Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida and being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the East One-Quarter Corner of said
Section 18; thence South 89005'13" West (for
convenience the bearings shown herein are relative to
