Activities Building
This letter will serve as a formal request for approval from
the Building Department to waive the requirements at this time to
install sidewalks on the north and south sides of the project on
First and Second Avenue.
There exists no other sidewalks on this block and future
plans for the east end are incomplete to date. sidewalks were
already excluded on the Library site due to indecision on type
and placement, ie; swale and walk vs. curb and gutter. This item
was referred to the Engineering Department as part of their
street program.
completion of all sidewalks on First and Second Avenue and
First Street will be included with the completion of Phase III
Madsen Center project.
Variances for other work are already processing through the
Planning Department for the east end parking and landscaping
conflicts.
Please prOVide written approval for consideration at the
July 30th TRB meeting.
