Dear Mr. Alfaro:
Enclosed please find a parking statement for the Caloosa Park Roller Hockey Rink project. This
parking statement has been prepared in response to city staff comments on the project building
permit application. Pursuant to direction received from City staff and their evaluation of the
project program, we conclude that sufficient parking spaces are available to meet the City's
parking requirements for the proposed roller hockey rinks and the balance of Caloosa Park.
Specifically, the County proposes to construct two (2) roller hockey rinks and a half rink
practice area containing 37,300 square feet. Based on the City of Boynton Beach's staff
interpretation of Chapter II, Section o.I6.e.(2), the parking requirement for ice skating and
roller skating rinks is :__.One (I) parking space per one (100) square feet of rink area.. The
total parking spaces currently provided at Caloosa Park exceed this requirement. The enclosed
Parking Plan graphically depicts the existing and proposed parking for Caloosa Park.
Based upon the information outlined above and the enclosed plan, we confirm that sufficient
parking is available for the proposed roller hockey rinks at Caloosa Park. We trust that the
information submitted is sufficient for your review and look forward to your issuance of the
