Dear Ms. Conover:
In response to your request dated January 29, 2004 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
. Elimination of the proposed realignment of 26th Avenue (as
depicted on the attached plan);
· Shifting of the parking structure three (3) feet to the south to
ensure preservation of the existing Live Oak trees and prevent
encroachment into the north setback by the stair tower (as
depicted on the attached plan) ;
. Increasing of the number of parking spaces within the garage by
one (1) for a total of 884 (as depicted on the attached plan) ;
· Placement of canopies at the south and west entrances to the
parking structure.
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised
date stamped 1/30/04 are "minor" as defined within the
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Site Plan Review.

Dear Mr. Rumpf:
This letter is to request a Minor Site Plan Modification to the Bethesda Hospital Parking
Garage's recent approved plans by the City Commission on January 6, 2004. The plan
has been modified after the City Commission approved the plan and these changes will be
submitted to the Building Department to go through the permitting process. These all
represent minor changes and adjustments, which are clouded on the site plan and should
make for an easier review process. Overall, they simplify the project.
There are only four (4) minor revisions that we are requesting to be reviewed.
1. The hospital proposed to realign the access road near the emergency room, S.W.
26th Avenue. Therefore, elimination of this realignment request would be able to
focus on the construction of the parking structure at this time.
2. On the new plans the parking structure will be shifted three (3) feet to the South of
the property. This will be done to save the existing Live Oak trees and to prevent
the stair tower from encroaching in the easement to the North of the property.
3. The 883 total parking spaces has been increased by one (1) space to the 884 total
parking spaces.
4. Canopies have been placed on the South and West entries of the parking structure
to enhance the structure.
