Dear Mr. Plewinski:
In response to your request dated November 15, 2004 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
· Repainting of the building roofs with "Million Dollar Red" BM
2003-10 and accent bands "Coventry Gray" BM HC-169 (as depicted
on the attached plan) ;
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised plan
date stamped 10/15/04 are ~ "minor" as defined within the Land
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Site Plan Review. This
project may not continue to be processed by the Building Division
as a permit application, due to the following conditions:
1. The original Eckerd Drug Store was reviewed and approved using the
"Coastal Florida" architectural style guidelines contained within
the Marina Area section of the City's 20/20 Redevelopment Master
Plan. Many of the detail features adorning the building are a
direct result of these guidelines. An important aspect of which is
the use of cool colors. Obviously the Eckerd blue met these
guidelines. However, the CVS red does not, and does not conform to
the plan or recently approved projects slated for the immediate
vicinity.
Please contact me at (561) 742-6260 if you have additional
questions.
Sincerely,
Ed Breese, Principal Planner

No... we are slammed and she has a bunch of contracts on Promenade units to work through.., we will keep trying. I will
tell you that the light grey or silver color that staff recommended will be the pick of the board.
