Dear Ms. Morris:
In response to your request date-stamped December 6, 2004 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
· Replacement of monument signs at the Boynton Beach Boulevard
entrance (as depicted on the attached plan) ;
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised
date stamped 12/6/04 are "minor" as defined within the
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Site Plan Review.

1. Landscaping is required around the base of the monument sign and
shall, at a minimum, meet code regulations. A separate landscape
permit must be submitted prior to issuance of the sign permit.
2. The signs shall be a minimum of 10 feet from all property lines and
outside of the 25 foot sight triangle.
3. The colors of the sign shall match the building colors as noted in
your letter.
Be advised that any proposed changes may require a modification to

I SPOKE WITH KAREN REGARDING CASABLANCA APARTMENTS,
AT 815 BOYNTON BEACH BLVD. THESE ARE GOING TO BE
TURNED INTO CONDOMINIUMS AND THE OWNERS ARE LOOKING
TO UPGRADE THE ENTRANCE AREA. KAREN TOLD ME WE
WOULD NEED A MINOR PLAN REVISION.
HERE ARE PHOTOS OF THE EXISTING ENTRY SIGNS AND THE
PROPOSED ENTRY SIGNS AS WELL AS SOME PHOTOS OF THE
APARTMENTS FOR YOUR PERUSAL.
THE EXISTING SIGNS ARE WOODEN AND 5' HIGH A 6' WIDE. WE
WOULD LIKE TO REPLACE THEM WITH MONUMENTS, WITH A
STUCCO PAINTED FINISH AND EIFS TRIM, POURED CONCRETE
FOOTER AND ALUMINUM LETTERS WITH A SPRAYED, BAKED
FINISH. THE GROUND COLOR WILL MATCH THE BUILDINGS. THE
TRIM WOULD BE AN ACCENT COLOR AND THE LETTERS WOULD
BE BLACK.
THIS IS NON-ILLUMINATED. WE WOULD USE THE EXISTING
UPLlGHTS AND THE AREA WOULD BE LANDSCAPED ACCORDING
TO CODE.
