The Home Owners Ass, of Cedar Ridge has requested that we make a change to the Lake Worth Christian
School Athlectic Field site plan (see attached cedar ridge road,pdf). Specifically it deals with the access road
going down to the lake, The Site Plan Approval for this area has us removing the entire 22' of asphalt paved
area from the lake and extending west to the main road (see sheet 3/5C of the civil drawings for this project, I
have also attached cr.pdf to isolate this area for easier viewing) and then constructing a 15' wide stabilized sod
area centered on the REMAINING 30' of ROW area, Remember that our project has a lease agreement with the
City of Boynton Beach letting us use the North 30' of the 60' ROW for the fields, If we can do what Cedar Ridge is
requesting the end result would be to have 11' of asphalt pavement directly south from the assumed property line
(the "LEASE" line). To the North of the cut asphalt edge we would have a 7' green space with a hedge and trees
as the current landscape plan (sheet L 1) show. At the edge of the seven feet green space we have our fence line
starting and another row of trees immediately to the north of the fence line.
My question to you are as follows:
Do you see us getting a successful approval for this change thru your department and specifically the engineering
branch of your office?
If you feel there is a general consensus for our approval, I will begin having all of the consultants revise the
drawings. Please let me know as to your take on this as soon as you can, How long do you think you will need to
respond back to us?

Dear Mr. Hook,
I have been authorized by the Board of Directors of the Cedar Ridge Community Homeowners
Association to send this letter requesting that you not remove the south half of the pavement in
the right of way at the terminus of Forest Road where it abuts your Schools southern boundary as
part of your field construction project. Your current plans call for this pavement to be removed
in its entirety so the school can utilize the north half of the right of way for your project. While
we do not object to the removal of the north half of the pavement needed to complete your field
project, we strongly feel that leaving the south half of pavement intact would be to our benefit
allowing us continued maintenance access to our development's lake and drainage system. The
current plan to create a new stabilized access in the grass swale south of the existing pavement
would cause construction over two storm water catch basins and a main drainage pipe, and
possibly risk damaging the drainage system that serves the north half of our development.
We thank you for your consideration in this matter and your extraordinary efforts to keep the
residents of Cedar Ridge informed of your development plans and construction timetables. We
wish to continue working with you in the future as good neighbors. If you require additional
