Dear Mr. Caparros:
In response to your request dated July 19, 2004 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
· Orientation of dumpster pads and enclosures (as depicted on the
attached plan) ;
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised
date stamped 7/20/04 are "minor" as defined within the
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Si te Plan Review.

1. Prior to permit application contact the Public Works
Department (561-742-6200) regarding the storage and handling
of refuse per the CODE, Article II, Section 10-26 (a).
2. Rotate the orientation of the proposed middle-north to allow
pickup from the east. Provide a minimum backing clearance of
60 ft. from the front edge of the dumpsters.
3. Rotate the orientation of the proposed southern dumpster to
allow for a better approach angle. Provide a minimum backing
clearance of 60 ft. from the front edge of the dumpsters.
4. Indicate by note that the site dumpster enclosure shall be
constructed in accordance with City Standard Drawing G-4.

5. The minimum dumpster pad is 10 ft. x 10 ft. (inside dimension
including gates) .
6. The required gates for the dumpster shall contain long steel
rods to drop into the pavement in order to secure the gates in
the open and closed positions. Drilled holes (for concrete) or
metal sleeves (for asphalt) shall be provided for the
locking rods.
7. Please show utility easements and drainage easements to ensure
there are no conflicts with the proposed dumpsters.
8. It may be necessary to replace or relocate large canopy trees
adjacent to the proposed dumpsters to eliminate vertical
conflicts. Should this be the case, please contact the City
Forester in advance of any landscape modifications.
Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to

The above referenced Site Plans, received on July 26, 2004, was reviewed for Public Works,
Engineering, and Utilities against the requirements outlined in the City of Boynton Beach Code of
Ordinances. Following are our comments with the appropriate Code and Land Development Regulations
(LDR) referenced.
