This is the first I've seen it, they had a minor mod some time ago, so I suppose they are just notifying us of
their intent. Do minor mod approvals ever expire?

depicted on the attached plan) .

plan) .

due to the new pavement exceeding 800 square feet.

Minor Modification
Wal-Mart
File No. MMSP 04-031
The above referenced Site Plans, received on March 26, 2004, were reviewed against the requirements
outlined in the City of Boynton Beach Code of Ordinances. While we have no objection to the proposed
modification we offer the following comments:
D New pavement is proposed exceeding 800 sf. Revised drainage calculations will be required at the
time of permitting showing the on-site drainage system's capability of handling the increased
impervious area.
D The loading area is shown to be removed. The applicant shall show its relocated position at the time
of permitting.
D The existing compactor enclosure is being relocated. At the time of permitting provide additional
information showing compliance with the compactor enclosure requirements.
D A Temporary Construction Permit may be required from LWDD to construct the temporary road.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to give me a call at x6482.

SUBJECT:
Wal*Mart - Boynton Beach, Florida
Store #2789-00, Existing Store Site
Stockroom Expansion
Dear Mr. Rumpf:
Please find the attached Major Site Plan Application and associated plans and fee. This
project consists of the addition of 2 stockrooms, 2,773 SF and 3,293 SF respectively, to
be built on the south side of the existing Wal*Mart Supercenter. The exterior of the
additions will match the existing store.
The existing pavement behind the store will be increased in order to maintain the loading
space requirements and to allow enough room for traffic.
There are currently 3 drainage lines behind the store. The line closest to the building will
remain and the stockrooms will be built over it. The 48 inch line will be relocated so that
it will not be under the additions. This is due to a comment from David Kelly, stating
that since this pipe is a conveyance pipe for offsite drainage, it must be accessible. The
existing ex filtration trench will also remain in place.
A temporary access road is proposed to be constructed behind the existing curb so that
deliveries may continue during the construction process. The landscaping affected by
this road will be replaced in kind upon the completion of the project
Should you have any questions or comments or need any further information, please feel
free to contact me at (772)-794-4084.
