RE: Renaissance Commons Phase IV (aka Villa Lago)

Dear Kevin
At the request of our client, Jim Comparto of Compson Associates, we have been
asked to enhance the landscape around the perimeter of the Villa Lago building by
modifying the design and providing supplemental plant material. The building is a
large six story structure and there were concerns that the previously approved
plans did not adequately address the scale of the building or provide sufficient
landscape coverage along the uppers stories.
In working with Compson, we have developed a design that increases the number
of large palms, thereby providing coverage up to the third story of the building.
Medium sized shade trees have been added in front of the patios to decrease
visibility from the roads into the groundfloor units. And finally, the use of small
accent trees and palms has been maintained so that the pedestrian scale factor
was not lost.
As demonstrated by the follow table, the there has been no decrease in quantities
associated with this revision.
