Hi Fernando!
The FPL online construction service representative referred me and I left a brief voice mail message for you
today. To further explain, the City of Boynton Beach has received a variance request for Majestic Gas
station located at 302 West Boynton Beach Blvd (east of 1-95, south side of BB Blvd). The variance
involves a required fence/wall and buffer along rear property line adjacent to residential, and this is where
FPL easement is located. There is some undesirable vegetation there right now that is obviously in the way
of the power lines. Here is our chance to do it right! I would really appreciate your written comments on the
following:
1. do you prefer a 6 foot fence or 6 foot concrete block wall along rear property line if located in
utility easement?
2. preferred location of a fence or wall (okay in easement or not?, we require to be at least 2 feet
from property line)
3. where the required buffer with trees a minimum of 12 feet in height should be located (distance
from easement?)
4. what type of buffer trees are preferred?, what type of buffer trees are prohibited or undesirable?
5. any other comments or concerns you would like to address regarding the variance.
