Industries, Inc. 225 SE 5th Ave. In order to address code requirements for this installation, additional information is required such as the following: 1. The capacity of the tank (gallons). 2. Type of tank. 3. Class of liquid to be stored as defined in NFPA 30 and the Florida Fire Prevention Code. 4. The information provided in the "Statement of Justification" indicates the tank will hold gas and diesel fuel. How will this be accomplished using one tank? 5. City records do not show the existing tank was legally permitted or inspected. The installation of the tank shall comply with the requirements for flammable and combustible liquids as mandated in NFP A 30 and the Florida Fire Prevention Code. The distance shown between the storage tank and the edge of the public way is not in compliance with the above referenced code and standard. Therefore, I would recommend denial of this variance.
