MMSP 05-052
Dear Mr. Bloom:
In response to your request dated June 9, 2005 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
· Modification to parking and sidewalks (as depicted in your
letter and on the attached plan) ;
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised plan
date stamped 6/13/05 are "minor" as defined within the Land
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 - Site Plan Review. This project
may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit
application, subject to the following conditions:
1. No landscaping shall be removed or relocated without previous
approval of the City Forester and installation of new landscaping
shall be coordinated with the City Forester.
2. In order to meet ADA accessibility guidelines the sidewalk shall
either be 5-ft. wide or shall provide for 5-ft. x 5-ft. passing
areas at 200-ft. intervals. This provision is applicable to all
sidewalk within the proposed development as the handicap spaces are
scattered throughout the project.
3. The proposed hammerheads at the ends of Building 1, 10, 12, and 15
shall either be for backup purposes or for parking. They may not
be used for both. Staff believes it is the applicant's desire to
use these for turn-around purposes. Accordingly, delete the
parking blocks. As the project is "over-parked" the loss of these
areas for parking should pose no impact.
These comments may be addressed at the time of permitting.

Be advised that any proposed changes may require a modification to
the building permit. Please contact me at (561) 742-6260 if you
have additional questions.
Sincerely,
Principal Planner
