Dear Mr. Mire:
In response to your request dated November 8, 2005 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
· Addition of a 20' X 5' blue awning on the west elevation for the
Gulfstream Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy (as depicted on the
attached plans) .
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised plan date
stamped 11/9/05 are "minor" as defined within the Land Development
Regulations, Chapter 4 - Site Plan Review. This project may continue
to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application.
Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to
the building permit. Please contact me at (561) 742-6260 if you

Dear Mr. Rumpf,
On behalf of our client, Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc., we submit this letter requesting approval of a
canvas awning to accommodate the interior renovations to construct the LIFE. Academy within the
existing Bethesda Service Center located at 3800 S. Congress Avenue. In support of our request we
provide the following:
Partial elevations showing improvements.
Site plan showing location of improvements.
Site location map.
Photographs of building areas affected.
Other relevant information:
The canopy is 20' long, 3' high, and projects 5' from the building.
The entry door shown was approved on or about 4.28.05.
The setback to the property line is approximately 60'.
This area is generally not visible from a public right-of-way.
The setback to Congress Avenue is greater than 750'.
The PCN is 08-43-46-05-00-000-7010.
