Dear Mr. Rum~s:
The Owner of the Boynton Commerce Center, Menorah Realty, Ltd. Has employed Brennan
Consulting, Inc., an ADA Consultant, in Miami Beach, FL to inspect the Boynton Commerce
Center for ADA deficiencies and to prepare a report. The report was completed on 5/21/03.
They discovered that some of the existing concrete walkways to the tenant units in this building
and some of the landings in front of the entrance doors do not meet the requirements of the
Florida Building Code, Chapter 11 with regard to proper accessibility for the disabled from the
parking area.
The Owner has asked us to prepare the attached construction drawings to show the work required
to bring the deficient accessible routes to this building into conformance with the requirements of
the FBC - 2001, Chapter 11. Without knowing that your Division. needed to review them first,
we initially submitted them to the Building Division where they were reviewed and generated
comments from the Plans Examiners there. They have asked us to submit them to you for your
review. The Building Division has assigned a Permit Application Number to this Project and it
is 05-1432 Bldg 2000.
Acting upon a comment by Karen Main of your Division. during the Building Division review,
we spoke with Ed Breeze approximately a month or so ago who gave us the information about
how to make the submittal to your Dept. We have attached four (4) sets of our construction
drawings and a check in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100) for your review and
comments.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the foregoing.
