Dear Mr. Hurd:
In response to your request dated May 26, 2005 for the

· Addition of two (2) 120-gallon tanks (as depicted on the
attached drawing) .
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised plan
date stamped 5/26/05 are "minor" as defined within the Land

In regards to: Permit Application # 05-2833 - Chez Gourmet Caterine
Mr. Ed Breese

Development Department

Dear Mr. Breese:
Thank you for accepting my telephone call this morning concerning Chez Gourmet Catering
located at 1716 Corporate Drive in Boynton Beach.
As I mentioned on the phone, this small business owner is attempting to open by June 1 because
his lease at his present location expires at month's end.
The plan review was returned to us because of two items:
1. The plan was originally to install a 250 gallon underground storage tank in the loading
zone at the rear of the building. Because of traffic and safety concerns, it was decided
instead to install two vertical 120 gallon above-ground tanks which can be installed
against the rear wall in accordance to NFPA pamphlet 58 and Florida code. We were
requested to provide four copies of plans with specification sheets on the tanks and pay a
$100.00 fee.
2. The plan did not show traffic protection with the use ofbollards. We are to include the
bollards on the site drawings.
Our request is to allow us to temporarily set the tanks and arrange to install the bollards while the
plan review process is being completed. At your direction, we will make any required
modifications to your complete satisfaction. Our concern is for the business owner's livelihood.
Respec fully yours,
nailian Hf4
