There may be a vertical conflict between the proposed Bougainvillea PPL and Silver Buttonwood trees adjacent to the dumpster enclosure location. Please re-evaluate their location and relocate to provide vertical clearance for Solid Waste trucks. PUBLIC WORKS - TRAFFIC No comments at this time. ENGINEERING 2. All engineering construction details shall be in accordance with the applicable City of Boynton Beach Standard Drawings and the "Engineering Design Handbook and Construction Standards" and will be reviewed at the time of construction permit application. UTILITIES 9. The CODE, Section 26-34(E) requires that a capacity reservation fee be paid for this project either upon the request for the Department's signature on the Health Department application forms or within 30 days of site plan approval, whichever occurs first. This fee will be determined based upon final meter size, or expected demand, unless these fees have already been deposited under the old building configuration. 10. All utility easements and utility lines shall be shown on the Site, Civil and Landscape plans so that we may determine which appurtenances, trees or shrubbery may interfere with utilities. In general, palm trees will be the only tree species allowed within utility easements. Canopy trees may be planted outside of the easement so that roots and branches will not impact those utilities within the easement in the foreseeable future. The LDR, Chapter 7.5, Article I, Section 18.1 gives public utilities the authority to remove any trees that interfere with utility services, either in utility easements or public rights-of-way. 11. Comprehensive Plan Policy 3.C.3.4. requires the conservation of potable water. As other sources are readily available City water shall not be allowed for irrigation. 12. A building permit for this project shall not be issued until this Department has approved the plans for the water and/or sewer improvements required to service this project, in accordance with the CODE, Section 26-15. 13. The Site and Landscape Plans indicate water meters in the landscape island at the southeast corner of the building. This conflicts with the Civil Plans that show meters only along the north side of the building. Please correct. 14. Only one 2-in. service line tap is required to split to four 1-in. meters. Please see Standard Detail W- 11. 15. The original plan for this project had eight retail spaces. This has been reconfigured to seven spaces. Please revise meter layout accordingly. 16. The sanitary sewer lateral layout has been revised and now only depicts six laterals (although seven laterals are shown connecting to the grease trap line.) Please clarify. 17. The Landscape Plans show plantings on top of the meter water locations shown on the Civil Plans. ..
