The above referenced Site Plans, received on March 13, 2006, were reviewed against the 1 st Review
Comments, dated May 19, 2006, and for Public Works, Engineering, and Utilities against the
requirements outlined in the City of Boynton Beach Code of Ordinances. Following are our comments
with the appropriate Code and Land Development Regulations (LOR) referenced.
PUBLIC WORKS - GENERAL
1. An Orange Geiger is proposed on the southwest corner of the dumpster enclosure, creating a vertical
conflict for Solid Waste trucks attempting to pick up trash. Please relocate this tree or replace with a
non-canopy tree species.
PUBLIC WORKS - TRAFFIC
2. On the Site and Civil plans, show and identify all necessary traffic control devices such as stop bars,
stop signs, double yellow lane separators striping, directional arrows and "Do Not Enter" signage, etc.
See City Standard Drawings "K" Series for striping details.
ENGINEERING
3. All comments requiring changes and/or corrections to the plans shall be reflected on all appropriate
sheets.
4. Please note that changes or revIsions to these plans may generate additional comments.
Acceptance of these plans during the modification process does not ensure that additional comments
may not be generated at permit review.
5. Provide written and graphic scales, as well as a north arrow, on all scaled drawings.
6. Show sight triangles on the Landscape plans (LOR, Chapter 7.5, Article II, Section 5.H.). Reference
Palm Beach County Standards for the sight triangles on Seacrest Blvd.
7. There are overhead power lines around the perimeter of the church property. Landscaping shall be
designed and installed in accordance with FPL's "Plant the Right Tree in the Right Place".

8. Specify a cultivar such as High-Rise or Cathedral for the Live Oaks proposed adjacent to drive aisles
to minimize the potential for vertical conflicts for high profile vehicles.
9. Full drainage plans, including drainage calculations, in accordance with the LOR, Chapter 6, Article
IV, Section 5 will be required at the time of permitting. The provided drainage calculations were
briefly reviewed for general conformance with City of Boynton Beach standards. No obvious errors
were noted and a full review will be done at the time of permit application.
10. Paving, Drainage and Site details will not be reviewed for construction acceptability at this time. All
engineering construction details shall be in accordance with the applicable City of Boynton Beach
Standard Drawings and the "Engineering Design Handbook and Construction Standards" and
will be reviewed at the time of construction permit application.
UTILITIES
11. Comprehensive Plan Policy 3.C.3.4. requires the conservation of potable water. As other sources
are readily available City water shall not be allowed for irrigation. Please identify the irrigation source
on the plans.

The above referenced Site Plans, received on May 12, 2005, was reviewed for Public Works,
Engineering, and Utilities against the requirements outlined in the City of Boynton Beach Code of
Ordinances. Following are our comments with the appropriate Code and Land Development Regulations
(LOR) referenced.
PUBLIC WORKS - GENERAL
No comments at this time.
PUBLIC WORKS - TRAFFIC
1. On the Site and Civil plans, show and identify all necessary traffic control devices such as stop bars,

2. Current standards require 9~-ft. x 18~-ft. parking stalls with a minimum 25-ft. backup distance for
900 parking. Some reduction in backup distance is allowed for angled parking. See City Standard
Detail K-1 for dimensions. Revise parking layout accordingly.
ENGINEERING
3. Add a general note to the Site Plan that all plans submitted for specific permits shall meet the City's
Code requirements at time of application. These permits include, but are not limited to, the following:
paving, drainage, curbing, site lighting, landscaping and irrigation. Permits required from other
permitting agencies such as Florida Department of Transportation (FOOT), South Florida Water
Management District (SFWMD), Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD), Florida Department of
Environmental Protection (FDEP), Palm Beach County Health Department (PBCHD), Palm Beach
County Engineering Department (PBCED), Palm Beach County Department of Environmental
Resource Management (PBCDERM) and any others, shall be included with the permit request.

6. Provide written and graphic scales on all sheets.
7. Provide a Photometric plan. The lighting design shall provide a minimum average light level of one
foot-candle. Include pole wind loading, and pole details in conformance with the LOR, Chapter 6,
Article IV, Section 11, Chapter 23, Article I, Section 5.B.7 and Chapter 23, Article II, Section A on the
Lighting Plan. Lighting shall be directed away from any residential uses (LOR, Chapter 2, Section
4.N.7.)
8. Show sight triangles on the Landscape plans (LOR, Chapter 7.5, Article II, Section 5.H.). Reference
Palm Beach County Standards for the sight triangles on Seacrest Blvd.
9. Indicate, by note on the Landscape Plan, that within the sight triangles there shall be an unobstructed
cross-visibility at a level between 2.5' and 8' above the pavement (LOR, Chapter 7.5, Article II,
Section 5.H.).
10. Provide an engineer's certification on the Drainage Plan as specified in LOR, Chapter 4, Section
7.F.2.
11. Full Drainage plans, including drainage calculations, in accordance with the LOR, Chapter 6, Article
IV, Section 5 will be required at the time of permitting. The provided drainage calculations were

feet of an existing or proposed fire hydrant. Please demonstrate that the plan meets this condition,
by showing all hydrants.
