Revised Build-Out Date for Traffic Statement Required

I'm a new planner with the City and working on the report for the Waterside
site plan time extension. As you know, the 2005 build-out date for the
traffic concurrency approval will expire prior to the actual build-out of the
project if granted a 6 month time extension. Please revise the build-out
date on the traffic statement and submit a copy to me for my file and a COpy
to Masoud Atefi. Palm Beach County Traffic Division for his approval. This
needs to be done as soon as possible so that this matter will be resolved in
time for staff's report to the Board. Otherwise, we will have to recommend
it as a condition of our staff recommendation of approval, and conditioning
a recommendation for a time extension can sometimes be viewed as
problematic to the Board.

The Waterside Village, PUD record plat first review was completed on 11/12/04 by this office, with comments
channeled to Ken Hall for comments back to the record plat preparer. To date, we have not seen any resubmittal
and/or response to the original comments letter send to the preparer by Ken Hall.

I'm told that the developer of this project has 5 building plans in for review at this time but has not paid the impact fee yet.
If they proceed to pay the water & sewer impact fee on those 5 buildings, I will consider the capacity reserved, and not
require an additional reservation fee for the 6-month extension.
