Good Morning,
I am writing to let you know that there has been a change to the meeting date for the City Commission in September. The Board
meeting remains the same, August 26. but the Commission meeting will be meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2008.
This will affect the notices and the signs to be posted. The attached notice has been changed to reflect the new date. I am also
sending you an affidavit as well as the other noticing requirement information. The mailings and sign posting should be
completed no later than Saturday, August 16, 2008. You may forward the affidavit, photos, radius map and property owners list
to our office or (as per the ordinance) to the City Clerk's office during the following week, prior to the first meeting.

2, 2008. I am assuming that this is the notice that prompted your request for the extension. At this time, it seems

I cannot see anywhere in your previous e-mail or in yesterdays' email that the fee was due on May 2,
2008. You sent me in your previous email the forms and that in the interim we have to pay the $ 500.00
fee, but there was no date or timeline with respect of the submittal.
I will have the Office on Monday process the $ 500,00 check for the application and get it mailed to
you. I hope that this will resolve the issue.

I received your voicemail today questioning your understanding of the fee that is due today. As in this previous
email (below) it indicates that it is an application fee for the time extension you have requested. I had also faxed
a letter to your office on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 referencing this previous email and clearly indicating that the
project would expire at the close of business Friday, May 02,2008 if no fee was received.. The faxed letter was

then mailed to your office. A phone call was placed to 561-238-1000 today at @2:05 pm to clarify this matter
however the automated voicemail was all that was available. If I can assist you further with this matter, please
call 742-6265 at your earliest convenience as this matter is urgent if you do not wish for the project to expire.

I believe you are familiar with the noticing process, which will be required as part of the request for site plan time
extension. I have attached information that may be useful to you. I will provide you with a "courtesy" reminder at a
later date. The noticing is required to be completed no later than 10 days prior to the Board meeting. You may
utilize the Property Appraiser's services for labels, maps and property owners list or any other source of your
choice.
Currently our code allows for a maximum time extension of 12 months.
It was also brought to my attention that you have requested relief from the application fee. The Planning and
Zoning Director, Development Director and the City Manager are all aware of your request for this relief but
unfortunately at this time there is no provision within the City Code of Ordinances for this type of relief. You would
have an opportunity to present this request to the City Commission when the site plan time extension presentation
is made but in the interim I must ask you to remit the fee of $500.00 to begin the review process.

Please be advised, as I mentioned in the previous email, that despite the fact that we have received your
