Back2:round: The desired goal for the project is the addition of a new master suite, family room, and 2 car garage of standard sizes, to an existing 2 bedroom 2 bath single family residence with a 1 car carport. These improvements would convert the existing residence into one that would be consistent with current housing market standards, and represent an improvement to the neighborhood in general. The existing residence having been constructed at a 15 degree angle to the North side property line and East front property line has created a unique existing condition that requires the request for the adjustment. Scope of requested adiustment: Existing zoning for the Rlaab zoning district requires a 25 foot front setback and 10 foot side setbacks. The request is for a reduction of 5 feet to 20 feet on the front setback and for a reduction of 2 feet to 8 feet on the side. Please see the attached exhibits for additional information.
