Modification of building fac;:ades for Building D - Linens-N- Things (as depicted on the attached plan) . Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised plan date stamped 1/25/07 are "minor" as defined within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Si te Plan Review. This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application, subject to the following conditions: 1. The north elevation is subject to further modification based upon staff approval of the artwork and method of application, once complete design is developed and submitted by your artist. No c.o. shall be issued for this building without P&Z Department approval. Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to the building permit. Boynton Village. Rendered elevations ofthc subject building are enclosed with this submittal and correspond to this narrative. Bldg D: Linens 'N Things South Elevation: Addition of loading dock i compactor enclosure at SW comer, Separated trellises combined to tonn one long trellis. Triangular parapet wall removed from North elevation, thus now not visible from the South elevation. Trim features from backside of parapet removed. The depth of the main entry feature on the West elevation has been reduced, thus reducing the pOItion visible from the South elevation. Because of this reduction in depth, the vertical trim features on each side of the walk-through were removed to allow for pedestrian clearance. West Elevation: Main entry feature now eonsi:;ts of (4) columns rather than (5). Triangular portion oCthe pop-up feature on the North elevation has been removed, thus it is not visible from the W<,'St elevalion. ^Iso, the depth of this feature has been reduced, thus reducing the portion visible from the West elevation. NOIth Elevation: Triangular portion of the pop-up feat un; has been removed. Some of the detailed features associated with the pop-up heen removed. An agreement has been reached hetween Semhler (1950 Congress Ave, J LC), Staff and the Arts Department to place artwork ulong the North elevation. In doing SO, decorative kutures such as trellises and glass have been removed to allow for the artwork. Final appearance of the artwork will be forthcoming once agreed upon hy all partics.
