The proposed addition to the hospital utility plant provides 2,907 square feet. This is to house new chillers, boilers, and generators to~erve the new Comprehensive Heart Center currently under construction. The expansion project poses minimal visual impact to the adjoining neighborhood. This . has been demonstrated by the existing photos and perspective renderings included with this submittal. While the expansion necessitates the removal of ten existing parking spaces, any accessible parking initially impacted by this expansion project has been r~located, maintaining the original count of 54 (only 28 are required). The remaining overall parking count on the site is 1,804, which still exceeds the required number of 801. We would like to request your consideration on this Minor Site Plan Modification and that the process can be reviewed in a timely manner to be able to continue through. the permitting process.
