Dear Mr. Miller:
In response to your request date-stamped December 21, 2006 for the
administrative review and approval of the modifications proposed to
the above-referenced approved site plan, depicting the following:
· Relocation of four (4) parking spaces to accommodate site walls
around FPL poles (as depicted on the attached plan) .
· Addition of a fire pump room enclosure, chiller yard enclosure
and generator with enclosure (as depicted on the attached plan) .
· Parking lot/drainage structure grade modifications (as depicted
on the attached plan) .
· Proposal to eliminate water features at building entrance and
replace with to be determined art features (as depicted on the
attached plan) .
Please be informed that the proposed changes on the revised
date stamped 12/21/06 are "minor" as defined within the
Development Regulations, Chapter 4 Si te Plan Review.

1. As noted on Sheet A1.3 and in your letter of request, the
plant material proposed to cascade down the site walls is
subject to City Forester approval.
2. The enclosures for the fire pump room, chiller yard and
generator must be landscaped along all walls (other than
doors or gates) with plant material to approximately one-
half (1/2) the height of said walls.
3. The landscape plans also require updating to match the Site
Plan and reflect the placement of the four (4) relocated
parking spaces, the newly proposed mechanical equipment and
generator, and total plant/native plant calculations and
percentages at the bottom of Sheet LS-2, based on landscape
changes proposed as part of this Minor Modification request
and Condition #2 above.

4. Any proposed changes to the infrastructure and elevations
associated therewith are not being reviewed for construction
acceptability at this time. These details will be reviewed
within the construction permit application review process.
5. As noted in the pre-application meeting of October 13, 2006,
in preparation for the submittal of this Minor Modification
request, staff indicated that any substitution of sculptures
or artwork for the water features would need to be of
appropriate scale with the building and that staff would
want to review and approve the art features prior to
agreeing to the substitution. As such, the applicant needs
to submit the proposed substitution for review before that
particular aspect of the Minor Modification can be approved.
Be advised that the proposed changes may require a modification to

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to request your review and approval of several construction coordination field
changes. We propose to add a 4' high (maximum) site wall in select areas so as to not impact the
soil around existing FPL transmission poles. Attached sheet A-I.1, Site Plan, indicates (3)
locations of added sitewall. In addition, it shows the location of (4) relocated parking spaces.
Sheet A-1.3, Detail #2, indicates cross section of wall and typical elevation. Plant material will be
provided at the walls edge to cascade down over it during growth. The species will meet the City
Foresters approval. Sheet C-1 indicated revised asphalt grades to reduce the potential height and
length of added sitewall. Sheet LS-1 indicates added sitewall and revised planting plan based on
removed parking spaces.
The applicant also requests your review and approval of an Owners change, replacing the "Water
Feature" concept with an "Artform" concept as indicated on Sheet A-I.3. The applicant will
provide further details when a publicly recognized artist is chosen, as per applicants conversation
with City staff on October 13, 2006. See attached Sheet LS-1 for proposed landscaping of said
areas.
Applicant also requests your review and approval of the added fire pump room enclosure within
the chiller yard. Sheet A-I.4 indicates the enlarged floor plan, wall section and elevations to
match the building in design and color.
