2.0 DISCHARGE CRITERIA
2.1 Allowable discharge limits apply to all developments and/or
street or road improvements.

2.2 Minimum discharge culvert shall be fifteen (15) inches in
diameter.
2.3 Invert of the discharge orifice shall be no lower than the
maintained elevation in the Lake Worth Drainage District
canal. The minimum orifice shall be triangular in shape,
with a six (6) inch base and a six (6) inch height. The
triangular orifice shall be inverted so as to simulate a
V-notch weir at low stages.
2.4 Any additional drainage of excess water after a storm may
be allowed through a lockable screw gate. The size and
operation of this optional mechanism must be approved by
the Lake Worth Drainage District.
2.5 Minimum road and parking tract elevations shall in no case
be any lower than the elevation of the Lake Worth Drainage
District's design profiles. These profiles are based on
design discharge storm events. The backwater effects due
to distance from the receiving canal must be considered.
These profiles approximate the protection required by Palm
Beach County road criteria.
2.6 Maximum allowable discharge from any newly constructed road
or street, or from any road or street improvement, shall be
limited to, two and one-half cubic feet per second (2.5
cfs) peak allowable per half (1/2) mile section for the
twenty-five (25) year storm frequency.
2.7 All waters discharged into the Lake Worth Drainage
District's canal system shall meet water quality standards
in accordance with the laws of Florida and the Federal
Government.

The Palm Beach County Traffic Division has reviewed the traffic study for the proposed
project entitled; Mote Medical Office, pursuant to the Traffic Performance Standards in
Article 12 of the Palm Beach County Land Development Code. The project is

Based on our review, the Traffic Division has determined that the proposed medical office
project meets the Traffic Performance Standards of Palm Beach County. No building
permits are to be issued by the town, after the build-out date, specified above. The
County traffic concurrency approval is subject to the Project Aggregation Rules set forth
in the Traffic Performance Standards Ordinance.
