RE:
Lake Worth Christian School
Project #: 070504
TRAFFIC PERFORMANCE STANDARDS REVIEW
Dear Mr. Rumpf:
The Palm Beach County Traffic Division has reviewed the traffic study for the proposed
school expansion project entitled Lake Worth Christian School, pursuant to the Traffic
Pertormance Standards in Article 12 of the Palm Beach County Land Development Code.
This project is summarized as follows:
Location:
Municipality:
PCN#:
Existing Uses:
Proposed Uses:
New Daily Trips:
New PH Trips:
Build-out Year:
East side of High Ridge Road, north of Miner Road, west of 1-95.
Boynton Beach.
08-43-45-09-00-000-7070.
Private School with 433 Students.
Expand Private School to 593 Students and a 9,500 SF Daycare.

2010
Based on our review, the Traffic Division has determined that the proposed school
expansion project meets the Traffic Pertormance Standards of Palm Beach County. It
should however be noted that the County did conduct new peak hour turning movement
counts at the intersection of Gateway/High Ridge, out of concerns for the accuracy of
unusually high SBL volume (839 vph) during the AM peak hour. The new counts did
reveal much lower volume (488 vph) which is more along what the historical growth
suggests for the intersection. Even with the lower volume, the SBL movement remains
a concern at this location. No building permits are to be issued by the town, after the
! build-out date, specified above. The County traffic concurrency approval is subject to the
Project Aggregation Rules set forth in the Traffic Pertormance Standards Ordinance.
If you have any questions regarding this determination, please contact me at 684-4030.
Sincerely,
/7;-
